Photography has been a part of my life since junior high school. There I was first introduced to black and white processing the "old-fashioned" way - in a darkroom with chemicals. When I first saw my image come to life right before my eyes, I was hooked. From that day on, I was never without my Dad's 35mm camera and I sought out all opportunites to practice my new found passion - yearbook editing was one venue.
I attended the Rhode Island School of Professional Photography, graduating in 1979. I opened my first studio in 1980. My passion for photography is still as strong today as I continue to study with top professional photographers by attending frequent seminars and furthering my education.
